Privacy Policy

  • Controller: the Dodami operator, to be published before launch. Contact: Me > Contact in the garden app (coming soon).
  • What we collect: a random account ID, a device token (stored only as a hash), device/OS/app version, your garden and pet data, time zone, language; optionally pet name, nickname, friend codes, and push subscription data; an age band; IP address and request logs for security; pseudonymous usage events for analytics (you can opt out). We do not collect email, phone number, or real name.
  • Age: we ask for a birth year at garden level 3, before rewarded ads unlock (no default, you can skip). The year is sent to our server only to work out your age band; we store the band, never the year. Your country is checked from your IP at that moment and not stored.
  • Purposes and legal bases (GDPR Art. 6): providing the service (contract), security and fraud prevention, analytics (legitimate interests, opt-out available), push notifications and personalized advertising cookies (consent).
  • Analytics: the web/PWA uses Google Analytics 4 (the web property may be linked to Google's ad services for ad measurement). The extension and desktop app send pseudonymous events through our server to a separate property that is not linked to ads (Google signals off). Turn it off in Settings > Privacy > Send usage statistics.
  • Ads: rewarded ads appear only on the web/PWA version, only when you choose to watch them. Google may use cookies for ad delivery and measurement. Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland see a consent message before ads first load. You can turn off personalized ads at https://myadcenter.google.com. The browser extension and desktop app contain no ads.
  • Children and unknown age: users below the applicable age (under 14 in Korea, under 13 in the U.S., under the national age of digital consent in the EEA/UK) and users who have not told us their age get no analytics and non-personalized ads only (child-directed treatment). Users confirmed below the age also get no account linking or purchases.
  • Transfers: Cloudflare (U.S. and global; database region: to be published before launch), Google (U.S.), browser push services (U.S.), and Paddle (U.K., if purchases are enabled). Transfers rely on these providers' standard contractual safeguards.
  • Retention: until you delete your account (backups purged within 30 days; a previous account merged by device linking is deleted 30 days after the merge); security logs 30 days; analytics 14 months.
  • Your rights: deletion in Settings > Privacy > Delete data (immediate, all linked devices). A data download is not available yet; for access, a copy, correction, restriction or objection, contact Me > Contact in the garden app (coming soon). EEA/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
  • Chrome Web Store: our use of extension data adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
